Orientation at Monash gets bigger and better every year. O-Week is the flagship event of the Monash University calendar, designed to facilitate the transition of commencing students into all aspects of higher education, and welcome back continuing students in an entertaining and exciting carnival atmosphere.

MUISS Summer Swoop

8:30AM - 7:30PM Monash Sport

Patterned after the Amazing Race, students are asked to follow clues to discover their local area using public transportation. It is fast, exciting and fun. At the end of the race, teams will need to make a presentation describing their experiences of the day, this is followed by a simple dinner.

All Day Monash Sport

Want to kickstart your new life as a Monash University student? Monash Sport Fun Day will be held at the picturesque Monash Sport recreational grounds and have Monash students from all culture meeting, playing games and being entertained fro several hours. Come along for the chance to meet new and senior students of Monash.

MAPS Orientation

9:30 - 1:30 Airport Lounge, First Floor Campus Centre

Guest speakers comprising past and present MAPS constituents, MSA president and representatives from Language and Learning unit, Library services, Health Wellbeing & Development, Family and Day Care, and Equity and Diversity will be there to provide valuable information and answer questions. Morning tea and lunch will be provided, followed by guided campus tours.

Music on the Menzies - Spanish Festival

4 - 7PM Menzies Lawn

Gazpacho and vegetarian pizza, sangria and softdrinks. This festival is free for MSA Culture Card holders, or by gold coin donation for non-members. Live music will be provided by student and Latin / Spanish bands, before moving to Sir John's Bar for Sangria and Tapas
